FOLLOWING: BEYOND JOB SECURITY

⁹And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him. - Matthew:9:9 

Matthew was a publican, or tax collector, and while it was a despised profession, as much as there are always those two constant things of "death and taxes", then he could always expect to be paid.
