Not A Dissertation This Time
Missed church this morning, but I made up for it tonight. The pastor wasn't feeling well. He made neither service today. I had an opportunity to prophesy finally to the full extent of my gift. It was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. The only other time was once during a Sunday morning service when attendance was low due to the Holidays. It was after I sang a Psalm I had set to music, then prayed, and finally stretched for a minimalist prophecy. The scripture refers to the warfare of the service, and this was like grasping for straws in someone else's hands, as the Adversary was trying to run interference. In a subsequent service we would acknowledge and pray against a spiritual stronghold. As for now, there were only two responses. Tony came over and told me he really liked the prophecy, and a couple of specific parts of it, although we never did discuss it. The other comment was from Linda, a wonderful intercessor, who was agitated and distracted by the whole business, and made an aside like comment about it being a "dissertation, or whatever it was". It made me smile, but I made no comment to defend myself. She was basically right, if you were unaware or neglected the fact that it was a warfare. But after we had broken the stronghold in the past, there was great liberality in my prophesying, and continuing in the spirit I even gave forth with a prophetic song. the rest of the service was really great, as we prayed for everyone and Phyllis preached about Choices to Obey or Disobey God. Good word, and I always enjoy Dennis singing, as well as William and his Wife, All in all, it was definitely not a "dissertation" this time.
